SO, here’s how our contest will work:
Pick your favorite book and create a playlist for it. You can either write out the names of the songs on the back of this sheet of paper and turn that in OR
Even better & more fun, create a real playlist: We’ve set up a group playlist (thanks Heather!) at http://www.playlist.com/playlist/16672531211 . Once you get your book’s playlist written up, you can go to this page, search for the actual songs and add them to the group playlist or to a personal playlist you create. The steps to do this are E-Z:
~Follow the link above to Playlist.com
~Take 60 seconds and create an account of your own.
~Search for the songs on your playlist and either add them to the library’s “Express Yourself Infinite Playlist” (be sure to leave a comment and name the songs you added and the book they represent) OR
Create your own playlist ( Name it after the title of your book) and save it. Then follow "BoscoLibrary" to share your list with us.
Afterwards, drop off your written playlist at the library front desk. We’ll post all the playlists we get in the library’s teen reading section.
People can see, listen to and vote on their favorite playlist. The books / lists with the most votes win prize prize prizes and will be added to the library’s blog. Fame awaits!
If you’re not sure how to get something to work, just ask, we like to help.
