"Get Caught Reading" Photo Contest

May is “Get Caught Reading Month”. Your library is hosting a fun photo contest to celebrate, and everyone is invited to join in. Between now and May 30th, take a picture of someone you “catch” reading (or have someone take a picture of you!) and bring or email it in to the library (email bwstaff@swls.org). Be sure to write your name on the back. Your photo will be posted on the “Caught Reading” bulletin board in the front hallway. Then you, your friends and everyone else who comes to the library can vote for their favorite picture. You might want to vote for the lady reading the book, “Nibbled to Death by Ducks!”, or for the Giant Reading Squirrel discovered in the Paul Brandt School forest last month… At the end of the May, the three photos with the most votes will win some great prizes including gift certificates from local businesses or the book of your choice from Amazon. Also in April we’re celebrating Wisconsin history month with a state history trivia contest and special display of books all about Wisconsin and its many treasures. Stop by the library today and check out all the great programs and services we have to offer.
