FIZZ, BOOM, READ!"Summer Library Program this week: Let's Get Grossed Out!


"FIZZ, BOOM, READ!"Summer Library Program this week:   Let's Get Grossed Out: The Science of Yuk! Two scheduled group programs for children age 3 thru 11 take place  Wednesday morning at 10 AM, from June 11th- July 30th. Is your child younger than three? Join the library Rubber Ducky Activity Club and receive special incentives just right for your little one.

Regular attendance is not required. All children are eligible to participate in summer reading challenges  and earn tickets for great prizes and baskets. There's something for everyone from ages infant to 100 at the Boscobel Public Library this summer! Stop by today or call 608-375-5723.

"FIZZ, BOOM, READ!"Summer Library Programs begin June 11th


"FIZZ, BOOM, READ!"Summer Library Program begins June 11th  There's something for everyone from ages infant to 100 at the Boscobel Public Library this summer! Stop by today or call 608-375-5723 to learn more about the universe of exciting  summer science fun programs we'll be offering. Program themes include Let's Get Grossed Out; Dr. Einstein's Lab; Fizzy Explosions and many more, including special guest performers Tom Kastle and the Shrek! Heartland Theater Players.
Two scheduled group programs for children age 3 through 11 take place Wednesday mornings at 10 AM, June 11th - July 30thIs your child younger than three? Join the library Rubber Ducky Activity Club and receive special incentives just right for your little one. 
Older children, teens and adults: To fit your busy schedule anytime, Drop in and Do It Yourself activities are available all week long. Join in the fun and receive a chance to win selected prize baskets and gift cards. Feeling creative? Watch for our Camp Arts and Crafts weekend program July 19th-Aug 9th.

 ALERT! We're continuing to look for LEGOS (standard or Duplo sizes) to use during this summer's science based library reading program. Whether it's a  handful or a boxful, any LEGO donations to the library would be hugely appreciated and put to very good use by curious kids!

Annual Summer Booksale 
Mark your calendars now: Our Annual Big Summer Library Book sale will take place the July 10th - 12th. Once again we have oodles of good, gently read books for both adults and children  that will be available at rock bottom prices! We are also looking for book sale volunteers! If you can lend a hand for an hour or an afternoon, every volunteer makes a big difference. if you're interested in helping out with this or other library events, please stop by or call to get signed up on our volunteer action list. many hands make light work !

We're out of room! Yes we love book donations but at this time our storage unit is packed from floor to ceiling. If you are considering making a donation for the booksale, please call the library first before bringing in any additional materials. We can now accept only very limited quantities of items. A very big thank you to everyone who has made donations for the booksale.

FREE STUFF: the library is looking for a good home for some children's exercise equipment.  if you think that you or your organization can make use of this equipment, please contact the library Director Robin Orlandi for furthur details or to have a look at the items.
