Big July Booksale and Music for Kids!

This Week Big Annual Library  Booksale
Its that time of year again. The Boscobel Library's Annual Big Summer  Booksale kicks off this Thursday evening, July 10th with its "earlybird" sale opening at 5pm in the downstairs clubroom of the library building.Sale runs through Saturday afternoon, July 12th. The booksale is the library's biggest fundraiser of the year, so whether you come for a single book or a boxful, every purchase makes a difference and helps us to fund library programs and resources for our community all year round. We hope to see you this weekend!
We are loaded floor to ceiling with great books, kids' picture books, large print books, magazines, audiobooks, VHS movies and more for both adults and children. All items priced $1.00 or less. don't forget, the "Bag of Books Two Bucks" sale begins Saturday morning at 9 am. Why shop online, pay shipping or drive to Madison when some of the best reading and entertainment deals of the year can be found right in beautiful downtown Boscobel this week. We hope to see you there
Summer Library Reading Programs: Warp Speed Ahead!
In the last two weeks the library's "Fizz Boom Read" Summer Library Program first featured a visit from "Dr. Einstein", Steve Stahlman and his tremendous traveling lab. Kids and parents learned how much fun- and how loud!-- science experiments can be. Then last Wednesday, we were invaded by Orges as Shrek and Fiona took center stage and everyone got to pin the tail (tale?) on a very annoying Donkey!
This week Tom Kastle will be bringing his amazing musical instrument show to tell us all about the science of sounds and song. Can you toot a tuba? Find out and join us to get in tune, @ Your Library!
