A Dedication and Storywalk Kind of Day!

Boscobel, your first little free library in front of the historic Boscobel Train Depot is filled with books and open for browsing! Here are some photos taken this this past Sat. morning, when Boscobel Library friends, staff and trustees each placed a book into the library and cut a yellow ribbon signifying the little library's dedication as a community-wide resource!

Everyone is welcome to stop by and take or leave a book, magazine or other reading material. Please let the staff at Boscobel's main public library know if anything needs attention. Your Libraries.Your Community. Friends for life! We welcome all suggestions, support and ideas for expanding the outreach of our LFL's as an ongoing project. We expect to place three more boxes this summer, stay tuned!
Volunteers and trustees placing the very first books into the little library.

Saturday was also Opening Day of the Boscobel Farmers Market with an excellent turnout and selection of fresh produce and handmade items. For the market your library created a 16 page storywalk from the Eric Carle book "Pancakes!". A steady stream of little readers and their grownups enjoyed the walk-a-long story throughout the morning.

Smiling faces all around as the new library is declared Open for Reading!

Everyone enjoys a good story that makes you laugh!
